"The Gathering"
2nd Annual

| The second
annual TSSR "The Gathering" was held June 18, 19 and 20th in Bilgers Rocks
Park, in Grampian, PA. What a great time!!!!. "The Gathering" is not
just about showing your Shiloh, it is about meeting new Shiloh people.
We had people attend from as far away as California and Alabama. Some of
the people attending were "old hats" at showing, while others were
"newbie's". The show bug hit a number of people after this wonderful
weekend. Friday night consisted of a general get together at the site to
set up for the next days events and a handling lesson for anyone
interested. Saturday consisted of two shows--the TSSR Specialty in the
morning and an afternoon show open to all Shilohs no matter their
registration. Saturday night we had a camp fire and a pizza party and sat
around getting to know each other and swapping Shiloh stories. Sunday was
a morning show for all Shilohs and the sad part of saying good-bye to old
friends and new friends. We had a great photographer that took some
fantastic photographs, not only show photo's, but group and casual
photos. Other activities of the weekend were the Silent Auction, Raffle,
TDI, CGC testing and the Costume contest. It truly was a fantastic
weekend for those that attended.
Below is a very "Special Thank You" to all that helped to make "The Gathering" a great success. Thank you to our Show Chairperson Patti Schaefer and Saturdays Ring Steward Wendy Fullerton on a job well done!!!! Also a big Thank You to all that assisted with set-up, lunch and clean-up--we couldn't have done it without you!!! |
